Chairwoman of the Energy and Environment Committee, Manna Jo Greene, offers the

following:

 

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 462 dated October 19, 2021, set the date for the Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law No. 8 of 2021 (A Local Law Amending The Code Of The County Of Ulster, Chapter 304, Solid Waste, Article IV, Food Waste Prevention And Recovery, In Relation To Composting), to be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 7:10 PM; and

 

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was held Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 7:10 PM; and

 

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was advertised in the official newspapers of the County of Ulster, and posted on the signboard maintained by the Clerk of the Legislature situated in the Ulster County Office Building; and

 

            WHEREAS, all parties in attendance were permitted an opportunity to speak on behalf of or in opposition to the Proposed Local Law; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that herein, Proposed Local Law No. 8 of 2021 is hereby adopted by the Ulster County Legislature, and, pending the approval of the County Executive, will be assigned a local law number consecutive to the last local law adopted and approved in 2021,

 

and move its adoption.
