Background -+
Chairman Kenneth J. Ronk has faithfully served the residents of Town of Shawangunk since first being elected in 2008. His roots in the Shawangunk community and desire to serve began during his education at the Chapel Field Christian School. He remained close to the community during his political science studies at SUNY New Paltz and experienced first-hand the struggles of sustaining a business in the Hudson Valley throughout his tenure at the family business, WCC Tank Technology.
Ken is currently the Regional Director for the Mid-Hudson Office of New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb. His ability to network throughout the Mid-Hudson region has helped him in his role as Chairman to bring innovative policy discussions back to Ulster County for the betterment of it’s residents.
Ken has been a staunch advocate for a strong policy-making branch of government, the ending of wasteful government spending and the elimination of unnecessary partisan bickering which only harms the constituents. He is a proponent of anything that saves the tax payers money and the development of strong legislation to benefit Ulster County residents.
Born, raised and remaining in Wallkill, Ken is most at home walking his dog, George.
