Legislators Craig Lopez and Kenneth J. Ronk, Jr., and Legislators Bruno, Corcoran, Fabiano, Haynes, Litts, Maio, Petit, Roberts, and Wawro offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 168 dated June 16, 2020, set the date for the Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law No. 4 of 2020 (A Local Law Establishing Certain Consumer Protection Practices In Ulster County And Penalties For Violating Same), to be held on Tuesday, July 14,2020 at 6:20 PM; and

 

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, July 14,2020 at 6:20 PM; and

 

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was advertised in the official newspapers of the County of Ulster, and posted on the signboard maintained by the Clerk of the Legislature situated in the Ulster County Office Building; and

 

          WHEREAS, all parties in attendance were permitted an opportunity to speak on behalf of or in opposition to the Proposed Local Law; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that herein, Proposed Local Law No. 4 of 2020 is hereby adopted by the Ulster County Legislature, and, pending the approval of the County Executive, will be assigned a local law number consecutive to the last local law adopted and approved in 2020,

 

and move its adoption.
