Chair of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Gina Hansut offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Public Defender; and
WHEREAS, the Public Defender has requested that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature be authorized to extend County Contract 2022-00000588 with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services for the purpose of Ulster County’s continued participation in Distribution #10 for an additional one-year term, State Contract No: C130051, for the period 01/01/2020 through 12/31/2023; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to extend County Contract 2022-00000588 with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services for the purpose of Ulster County’s continued participation in Distribution #10 for an additional one-year term, State Contract No: C130051, for the period 01/01/2020 through 12/31/2023, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,
and move its adoption.
