Chairwoman of the Public Works, Capital Projects and Transportation Committee, Laura Petit, and Deputy Chair Dean J. Fabiano offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Code of the County of Ulster, Chapter 185 Electrical Standards, § 185-5 Electrical licensing board, the board was established consisting of nine (9) individuals who reside in Ulster County, two of whom shall represent members of the public, appointed by the County Executive for staggered terms, subject to confirmation by the County Legislature; and

 

WHEREAS, the resignation of Dominick Ferrante, Jr. has created a vacancy in one of the seats representing a member of the public; and

 

WHEREAS, further pursuant to § 185-5, the County Executive has appointed the following individual to fill the vacancy:

 

John Dispensa                                      Term to Begin: Present

Highland, NY 12528                             Term Expires: 12/31/2022;

 

now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby confirms the appointment of the above-mentioned individual as a member of the Ulster County Electrical Licensing Board in the seat and for the term as indicated above,

 

and moves its adoption.
