Chair of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Social Services; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Social Services (DSS) has received notification from the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) and Family Services (OCFS) of its approval of the County’s plan to support activities associated with sheltering the homeless during inclement winter weather (Code Blue Plan); and

WHEREAS, in order to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2022 budget is necessary; and

WHEREAS, no County contribution or matching funding is required; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the 2022 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
