Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on behalf of Emergency Management; and

WHEREAS, on March 7, 2020, a NYS public health emergency was declared, in relation to the 2019-Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic; and

WHEREAS, COVID-19 related expenses were required for immediate expenditure of monies to protect the public health, safety and welfare of the Ulster County community; and

WHEREAS, these COVID-19 expenses were unforeseen and an unexpected occurrence and not part of the 2020 Adopted Budget, and as of September 18, 2020, the total of these expenses is $1,610,024; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, the 2020 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
