Chair of the Public Works, Capital Projects and Transportation Committee, Kathy Nolan, and Deputy Chair Herbert Litts, III offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

 

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Ulster County Department of Public Works has requested that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature be authorized to enter into an easement with LORPAK WILLOW PARK LLC for the limited purpose of permitting underground access to a utility pole for an electric vehicle charging station in the City of Kingston, New York (Tax Parcel ID # No. 48.80-1-31.111); now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, the Ulster County Legislature as lead agency under NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) has determined that the project is an unlisted action and as lead agency has conducted a coordinated review, and issued and adopted a negative declaration, and as such, determined that the Project has not had a significant effect on the environment; and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, the Ulster County Legislature hereby authorizes the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature to execute, on behalf of the County of Ulster, any and all agreements and documents related to said easement with LORPAK WILLOW PARK LLC as approved by the County Attorney,

 

and moves its adoption.
