Chairwoman of the Public Works, Capital Projects and Transportation Committee, Laura Petit, and Deputy Chair Dean J. Fabiano offer the following:
WHEREAS this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, resolution No. 386 dated October 16, 2018 authorized the present lease agreement between the County of Ulster and Pine Professional Center, LLC for office space at the premises located at 124 Main Street, New Paltz, New York, expires on October 31, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has requested the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature to enter into a lease extension agreement with Pine Professional Center LLC, to renew the lease for an additional two (2) month period which shall allow the Probation Department to lease 1,308 square feet of office space on the first floor of the premises located at 124 Main Street, New Paltz, New York, at an annual cost of approximately $17.02/square foot cost, which shall be payable in two monthly installments totaling $1,855.00 per month, totaling $3,710.00 for the duration of the Lease Extension Agreement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to enter into a Lease Extension Agreement, and any amendments thereto, with Pine Professional Center LLC for office space located at 124 Main Street, New Paltz, New York to be used to house the Ulster County Probation Department, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified and approved by the Ulster County Attorney and Legislative Counsel,
and moves its adoption.
