Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and

 

          WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health has received notification from the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) for increased funding for Child and Family Emergency Services and Community Support Programs as per the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) State Aid letter dated December 14, 2022; and 

 

          WHEREAS, to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2023 budget is necessary; and

 

          WHEREAS, there is no increase in County Contribution as a result of these modifications; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby approves the contract amendment with OMH for increased funding; and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, that the 2023 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:
