Chairwoman of the Energy, Environment and Sustainability Committee, Manna Jo Greene, and Deputy Chair Gina Hansut offer the following:

 

          WHEREAS, Resolution No. 546 adopted on December 19, 2022, authorized the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature to execute an agreement with the Hudson River Drinking Water Intermunicipal Council (Hudson 7) and Dutchess County to include Ulster County as a voting member of the Hudson 7; and

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 546 of 2022 the Ulster County representative to the Hudson 7 shall be appointed for each calendar year by the County Executive, subject to confirmation by the Legislature; and

 

WHEREAS, the County Executive has appointed the following individual to serve as the Ulster County representative on the Hudson River Drinking Water Intermunicipal for a term to begin immediately and expire on December 31, 2023:

Kingston, NY 12401

 

now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby confirms the appointment of the above-mentioned individual to represent Ulster County on the Hudson River Drinking Water Intermunicipal Council for the term indicated above,

 

and moves its adoption.
