Referred to: The Health, Human Services and Housing Committee (Chair Walter and Legislators Corcoran, Erner, Lopez, Nolan, Petit, and Uchitelle), and The Ways and Means Committee (Chairman Gavaris and Legislators Cahill, Fabiano, Ronk, and Walter)
Chair of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section C-11(O) of the Ulster County Charter and Section A2-5(15) of the Administrative Code, the Ulster County Legislature shall have the power to approve the execution of certain contracts and amendments in the amount of $50,000.00 or in excess of $50,000.00 entered into by the County; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 448 of 2022 approved a contract amendment with
Liberty Resources, Inc. for $79,588.00 for the Trauma Specialist Case Manager; and
WHEREAS, the above-mentioned contract amendment has not yet been executed, and a revised contract amendment with Liberty Resources, Inc. has been submitted for approval by the Ulster County Legislature, which is described below:
WHEREAS, said contract amendment has been reviewed by Contract Management, County Attorney’s Office, the Director of Purchasing, and the County Executive;now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 448 of 2022 is hereby rescinded; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, the Ulster County Legislature has examined the contract amendment, and hereby approves the amendment in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney and Legislative Counsel,
and move its adoption.
