Chair of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health has received notification from the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) for increased funding for a 5.4% Cost of Living Adjustment for eligible programs as per OMH State Aid letter dated March 18, 2022; and
WHEREAS, in order to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2022 budget is necessary: and
WHEREAS, there is no increase in County Contribution as a result of these modifications; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby approves the contract amendment with New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) for increased funding for a 5.4% Cost of Living Adjustment for eligible programs as per OMH State Aid letter dated March 18, 2022; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the 2022 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:
