Referred to: The Laws, Rules and Government Services Committee (Chairman Heppner and Legislators Gavaris, Levine, Roberts, and Ronk)
Chair Tracey A. Bartels, Majority Leader Jonathan Heppner, and Minority Leader Kenneth J. Ronk, Jr. offer the following:
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 16 dated March 16, 2022, set the date for the Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2022 (A Local Law Amending The Charter Of The County Of Ulster, Amending The Administrative Code, Repealing Chapter 44, Ethics And Disclosure, Of The Code Of The County Of Ulster, And Establishing The “Ulster County Ethics Law”), to be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 7:10 PM; and
WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 7:10 PM; and
WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was advertised in the official newspapers of the County of Ulster, and posted on the signboard maintained by the Clerk of the Legislature situated in the Ulster County Office Building; and
WHEREAS, all parties in attendance were permitted an opportunity to speak on behalf of or in opposition to the Proposed Local Law; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that herein, Proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2022 is hereby adopted by the Ulster County Legislature, and, pending the approval of the County Executive, will be assigned a local law number consecutive to the last local law adopted and approved in 2022,
and move its adoption.
