Referred to: The Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee (Chairwoman Walter and Legislators Fabiano, Haynes, Heppner, and Parete), The Public Works and Capital Projects Committee (Chairman Fabiano and Legislators Cahill, Greene, Heppner, and Litts), and The Ways and Means Committee (Chairman Gavaris and Legislators Archer, Bartels, Haynes, Maio, Parete, Ronk, and Walter)
Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office; and
WHEREAS, Capital Project 594 was established pursuant to Resolution No. 268 dated June 15, 2021, in the amount of $ 1,102,665.00 for the upgrade of the Black Creek system in the Ulster County Jail; and
WHEREAS, the quote from Black Creek does not include the cost of installation and testing of all cabling and/or conduit that may be required as per section 8.0 of quote; and
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office received bids for electrical services from 3 vendors; and
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office requests the increase of Capital Project 594 in the amount of $573,100.00, $521,000.00 quoted and $52,100.00 contingency, for J & J Sass Electric to perform all electrical work not covered by Black Creek quote; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the 2021-2026 Ulster County Capital Improvement Program is hereby amended as follows:
INCREASE AMOUNT
Capital Project No. 594 Black Creek Upgrade $573,100.00
and be it further,
RESOLVED, that the 2021 Ulster County Capital Fund budget is hereby amended as follows:
INCREASE AMOUNT
