Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, the District Attorney has requested that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature be authorized to enter into an agreement with the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services for the purpose of Ulster County’s participation in the Criminal Justice Discovery Reform Grant, for the period 04/01/2020 through 3/31/2021; now therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature, or his designee, is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the Division of Criminal Justice Services for the purpose of Ulster County’s participation in the Criminal Justice Discovery Reform Grant, for the period 04/01/2020 through 3/31/2021, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

 

and move its adoption.
