Chairwoman of the Energy and Environment Committee, Manna Jo Greene, and Deputy Chair Mary Wawro offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-501 of the Environmental Conservation Law (ECL)of the State of New York each County within the State is authorized to appoint three members to serve on a Regional Fish and Wildlife Management Board; and

 

            WHEREAS, one appointee must be a member of the County Legislature, one member must represent the landowners of the County and one member must represent the sportsmen of the County; and

 

            WHEREAS, pursuant to ECL section 11-501(4) the appointments are made by the County Executive with the approval of the County Legislature; and

 

            WHEREAS, the County Executive has reappointed the following individual to the Fish and Wildlife Management Board as an alternate sportsmen representative of Ulster County:                                       

 

Thomas Raffaldi                                                       Term: Present

West Hurley, New York 12491                                         through

                                                                                               December 31, 2022;

 

now, therefore, be it

 

            RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby confirms the reappointment of Thomas Raffaldi as an alternate sportsman representative to the Fish and Wildlife Management Board,

 

and move its adoption.
