Chairman of the Public Health and Social Services Committee, Craig V. Lopez, and Deputy Chair Peter J. Criswell offer the following:

WHEREAS,thisresolutionhasbeensubmittedbytheCountyExecutiveon behalf of the Department of Health; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 295 dated August 18, 2020, Health Research, Inc. and the County entered into a contract for the COVID 19 Enhanced Detection grant to increase capacity building for COVID-19 case investigations and contract tracing coordination for the period July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022; and

WHEREAS, funding is provided to hire new personnel to increase capacity for COVID-19 case investigations and contract tracing and to support achievement of contract deliverables; and

WHEREAS, in order to reflect increased funding and create additional positions to support the required activities, an amendment to the 2020 budget is necessary; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2020 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
