Chairman of the Economic Development, Tourism, Housing, Planning, and Transit Committee, Brian B. Cahill, and Deputy Chair Herbert Litts, III offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this Resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Public Transportation; and

 

            WHEREAS, the Town of Shandaken operates a Summer Day Camp in Pine Hill and desires to provide a transportation option for Campers who wish to attend the

Camp; and

 

             WHEREAS, pursuant to Memorandum of Agreement, UCAT will transport Campers for the summer recreation program along Route 28 on the “Z” bus route at a rate of $1.35 per ride (which includes a 10% discount) which will be paid by the Town of Shandaken; and

 

              WHEREAS, the total estimated revenue for 2020 is $3,000 based on an average of ridership over the past years; now, therefore, be it

 

              RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to execute an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the Town of Shandaken to provide transportation to Shandaken Summer Day Camp students and invoice the Town of Shandaken directly for the service, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature, or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

 

and move its adoption.
