Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and Deputy Chair Manna Jo Greene offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works; and 

         

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office has maintained a substation at the Joseph Y. Resnick Airport, Ellenville, New York, occupying 1,534 square feet of airport terminal building space; and

         

WHEREAS, the present lease agreement with Town of Wawarsing, 108 Canal Street, Ellenville, New York, 12428, for the Ulster County Sheriff’s substation will expire on April 30, 2020; and

 

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has requested the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature to enter into a lease agreement with the Town of Wawarsing to lease 1,534 square feet of building space, for a five-year term commencing May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2025 at a cost of $312.00 annually plus utilities for the occupied space; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Chair of The Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to execute a lease agreement and any amendments thereto, with Town of Wawarsing, 108 Canal Street, Ellenville, New York, for an Ulster County Sheriff’s Office substation at Joseph Y. Resnick Airport, Ellenville, New York, for a term of five (5) years commencing May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2025, at an annual cost of $312.00, as filed with the Clerk of the Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

 

and move its adoption.
