Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano,

offers the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the present lease agreement between the County and Family

Services, INC., 29 North Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, for offices

located at 239 Golden Hill Lane, Kingston, NY (the “Premises”) will expire on

December 31, 2018, and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has requested the Chairman

of the Ulster County Legislature to enter into a lease agreement with Family

Services, INC. to lease 4,561 square feet of office space on the first floor of the

Premises, for a five-year term beginning January 1, 2019 and ending December 31,

2023 at a cost of $11.00/square foot, totaling $50,171.04 annually, with all utilities

and taxes included; now, therefore be it,

RESOLVED, that the Chairman Of The Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to execute a lease agreement and any amendments thereto, with Family

Services, INC., 29 North Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, for offices

located at 239 Golden Hill Lane, Kingston, NY, for a five-year term beginning

January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2023 at a cost of $11.00/square foot,

totaling $50,171.04 annually, with all utilities and taxes included, as filed with the

Clerk of the Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

and move its adoption.
