Chairwoman of the Economic Development, Planning, Education, Employment, Arts and Agriculture Committee, Megan Sperry, and Deputy Chair Herbert Litts, III offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of Ulster County Community College; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 630, dated December 19, 2022, established Capital Project No. 654 - Emergency Preparedness in the amount of $350,000.00; and
WHEREAS, 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program included funding in the amount of $3,050,000.00 for SUNY – Infrastructure Improvements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025 budget; and
WHEREAS, the College’s emergency response equipment is at the end of its life cycle or non-existent; and
WHEREAS, the College determines the cost of procurement of the emergency response equipment and installation services for this Capital Project in 2025 is $1,500,000.00; and
WHEREAS, SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the Capital Project – Emergency Preparedness via Resolution No.25-01-01; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 654 Emergency Preparedness is hereby amended as follows:
INCREASE
Capital Project No. 654 Emergency Preparedness $1,500,000.00
and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the 2025 Ulster County Capital Fund Budget is hereby amended as follows:
