Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Gina Hansut, and Deputy Chair Chris Hewitt offer the following:

          WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the Ulster County Sheriff; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 53, dated February 15, 2022 established Capital Project No. 616, Axon Body Camera purchase in the amount of $588,535.00; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office is requesting an increase Capital Project No. 616, Axon Body Camera project lo include the purchase and installation of five additional Axon Body worn cameras; and

          WHEREAS, such increase will cover the purchase of hardware and software to allow for five new employees to be upfitted with a body worn camera; and

WHEREAS, the Axon contracts are established and broken down into a five-year plans; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2025 - 2030 Ulster County Capital Improvement Program is amended as follows:
