Chairwoman of the Economic Development, Planning, Education, Employment, Arts and Agriculture Committee, Megan Sperry, and Deputy Chair Herbert Litts, III offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of SUNY Ulster; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 684, dated December 6, 2023, approved the advancement of capital projects for the Ulster County Community College that were included in the approved 2024-2029 Ulster County Capital Improvement program; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 251, dated June 18, 2019, established Capital Project No 546 SUNY Ulster – Technology Upgrade in the amount of $300,000; and

WHEREAS, SUNY Ulster, through its Office for Information Services has assessed the need for technology upgrades on campus and compiled a list of the most critical locations that will be enable the College to stay on target with the required needs of technology for the college programs that are taught on campus, as well as help students, staff and faculty to accomplish their goals within the education system; and

WHEREAS, the $200,000 cost to upgrade technology equipment in 2024, would be divided as follows: $100,000 State and 100,000 Ulster County; and

WHEREAS, the 2024-2029 Ulster County Capital Improvement Program included funding of $200,000 for Technology Upgrades; now, therefore be it

 RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 546 – SUNY Ulster Technology Upgrades is hereby amended as follows:
