Chairwoman of the Economic Development, Planning, Education, Employment, Arts and Agriculture Committee, Megan Sperry, and Deputy Chair Herbert Litts, III offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of SUNY Ulster; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 684, dated December 6, 2023, approved the advancement of capital projects for the Ulster County Community College that were included in the approved 2024-2029 Ulster County Capital Improvement program; and
WHEREAS, due to the aging infrastructure SUNY Ulster is in the need of funding set up for handling minor critical maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the $500,000 cost to for handle minor critical maintenance in 2024, would be divided as follows: $250,000 State and 250,000 Ulster County; and
WHEREAS, the 2024-2029 Ulster County Capital Improvement Program included funding of $500,000 for Minor Critical Maintenance; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 701 is hereby established as follows:
CREATE AMOUNT
Capital Project No. 701 Minor Critical Maintenances $500,000.00
and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the 2024 Ulster County Capital Fund budget is hereby amended as follows:
INCREASE AMOUNT
HH.2497.0701-2300.2550 Construction $500,000.00

and moves its adoption.
