Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health has received notification from the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) for increased cumulative funding for Cost-of-Living Adjustments (COLA), Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI), and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) resulting in total 2024 State Aid as per the 2024 New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) State Aid letter dated December 13, 2023; and
WHEREAS, to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2024 budget is necessary to increase the approved operating budget; and
WHEREAS, there is no increase in County Contribution as a result of these modifications; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the 2024 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:
