Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Compliance Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ulster County government has been and continues to be committed to compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and payer requirements; and
WHEREAS, Ulster County has always been, and remains committed to, its responsibility to conduct business with integrity, based on sound ethical and moral standards, holding “Affected Individuals” to the same standards; and
WHEREAS, since May 2012, Ulster County has had in place an Ulster County Compliance Plan, as amended from time to time; and
WHEREAS, the County’s Compliance Committee, in conjunction with the County Attorney’s Office and the Executive Office, and in consultation with the County’s Compliance Consultant, has revised the Ulster County Compliance Plan pursuant to New York State Social Services Law (SOS) § 363-d and 18 NYCRR Subpart 521-1; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby adopts the updated Ulster County Compliance Plan as set forth,
and moves its adoption.
