Chairwoman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Laura Petit, and Deputy Chair Dean J. Fabiano offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the approved 2019-2024 Capital Improvement Program includes a project “HVAC/Weatherization Various Buildings” in the amount of $3,396,416.00; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has prepared a list of various Ulster County buildings in need of HVAC/weatherization replacements and upgrades; and

WHEREAS, the project will increase operation efficiencies, energy conservation, and improved ventilation where required; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 316 dated August 18, 2015, Capital Projects No. 392 through 402 were established to provide authorization and funding for the initial project; and

WHEREAS, it is now necessary to increase the funding of Capital Projects No. 392, 394, 396, and 397 by a combined total amount of $896,416.00 for the remaining work required; and, 

WHEREAS, it may be necessary for the Commissioner of Finance to transfer funds between Capital Projects No. 392 through 402 when bids are opened; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the 2019 Capital Fund Budget is hereby amended as follows:
