Fabiano and Legislators Greene, Litts, Nolan, and Roberts), and The Ways and
Means Committee (Chairman Gerentine and Legislators Archer, Bartels, Lopez,
Maio, James Maloney, Joseph Maloney, and Petit)
Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services
Committee, David B. Donaldson, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the
following:
WHEREAS, the resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on
behalf of the Ulster County College (“UCCC”); and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 366, dated September 20, 2018, established
Capital Project No. 491 SUNY Ulster – Facilities Master Plan and amended the
2018-2023 Capital Project Fund - SUNY Ulster; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 259, dated June 19, 2018, authorized the
Chairman of The Ulster County Legislature to enter into an agreement with the
Dormitory Authority Of The State of New York (“DASNY”) for project management
services at UCCC; and
WHEREAS, UCCC and the County are now formally requesting DASNY to
provide a campus master plan update and building condition assessment for the entire
UCCC campus; and
WHEREAS, the SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees approved Work Order
Number 2018-004 – Facilities Master Plan (the “Work Order”) via resolution #18-
10-194, at the Board of Trustees meeting held on October 16, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Work Order totals $175,000 (inclusive of DASNY fee of
$10,000) for such project, which will be divided as follows: $87,500 State and
$87,500 Ulster County; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature hereby approves
the Work Order for the provision of providing campus master plan update and
building condition assessment for SUNY Ulster,
and move its adoption.
