Chairman of the Legislature Kenneth J. Ronk Jr. offers the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Ulster County Sheriff;

and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff is requesting the Chairman of the

Ulster County Legislature be authorized to execute a contract, project # SH16-1094-

D00 for May 1, 2018 until July 31, 2018 with New York State Division of Homeland

Security & Emergency Services for reimbursement of funding used to pay Detective

Members overtime when conducting Operation Red Team, in to the amount of

$5,088.00; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to enter into an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the New

York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services for the purpose

of Ulster County’s participation in the New York State Operation Red Team Project

# SH16-1094-D00, for the period May 1, 2018 through July 31, 2018 in the amount

of $5,088.00, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or

as modified with the approval of the County Attorney in consultation with the

Chairman of the Legislature and the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Law

Enforcement and Public Safety Committee,

and move its adoption.
