Chairman of the Laws and Rules Governmental Services Committee, Kevin A.

Roberts, and Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, Richard Gerentine, offer

the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Ulster County Sheriff;

and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff is requesting the Chairman of the

Ulster County Legislature to accept funds and e-sign on e-grants a contract, project #

SH16-1088-SHSP for August 1, 2017 until November 30, 2017 with New York State

Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services. Reimbursement funding will

be used to replenish funds used to pay Detective Members Overtime when

conducting Operation Red Team, in to the amount of $3,119; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to enter into an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the New

York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services for the purpose

of Ulster County’s participation in the New York State Operation Red Team Project

# SH16-1088-SHSP, for the period August 1, 2017 through November 30, 2017 in

the amount of $3,119, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County

Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

and move its adoption.
