Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, the County Executive has submitted this resolution on behalf of

the Department of Public Works, and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has prepared the Highway

Equipment List for year 2017; and

WHEREAS, the approved 2017 – 2022 Capital Improvement Program

includes a project “Equipment Replacement – Roads and Bridges” in the amount of

$3,120,000.00 for the purchase of equipment in 2017; and

WHEREAS, after review of equipment needs for the County Highways and

Bridges Division, the Commissioner of Public Works requests that a capital project

be established in the amount of $3,120,000.00 for the purchase of equipment; now,

therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 500 Equipment Replacement – Roads

and Bridges is hereby established as follows:

 CREATE

Capital Project No. 500 Equipment Replacement – Roads and Bridges $3,120,000.00

and, be it further,

RESOLVED, that the 2017 Capital Fund Budget is hereby amended as

follows:

 INCREASE AMOUNT

HH.5197.0500-2100.2120 Highways & Bridges Equipment $3,120,000.00
