Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Thomas J. Briggs,

and Deputy Chairman Ronald G. Lapp, Jr. offer the following:

WHEREAS, Steven E. Sheehan seeks to donate a motor vehicle to the Ulster

County Sheriff’s Office for sale at auction; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office is requesting that the donation

of said motor vehicle from Mr. Sheehan be approved by the Ulster County

Legislature; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the County of Ulster, by and through the Ulster County

Sheriff’s Office, is hereby authorized to accept a donation of a motor vehicle from

Steven E. Sheehan, and auction said donated motor vehicle pursuant to and in

accordance with any and all applicable Standard Operating Procedures of the County

of Ulster, and pursuant to and in accordance with any and all applicable provisions of

the Ulster County Procurement Manual,

and move its adoption.
