Chairman of the Public Health and Social Services Committee, Craig V. Lopez, and

Deputy Chairman Jeanette Provenzano offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Health; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of the Health is requesting that a petty cash

fund in the amount of $150.00 (One Hundred Fifty Dollars) be established for use in

tobacco sales compliance enforcement; and

WHEREAS, the petty cash is required to allow the Department to conduct

tobacco sales compliance checks by attempting to purchase tobacco products at retail

locations throughout the County as required by its Tobacco Enforcement Grant; now,

therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that a petty cash fund in the amount of $150.00 (One Hundred

Fifty Dollars) is hereby established for the Ulster County Department of Health and

accounted for pursuant to County Law §371; and, be it further

RESOLVED, that the 2014 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as

follows:

CREATE

AA.0210.0098 Health Dept. Petty Cash

INCREASE AMOUNT

AA.0210.0098 Health Dept. Petty Cash $150.00

and move its adoption.
