Chairwoman of the Economic Development, Planning, Education, Employment, Arts and Agriculture Committee, Megan Sperry, and Deputy Chair Herbert Litts, III offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of SUNY Ulster; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 251, dated June 18, 2019, established Capital Project No. 546 SUNY Ulster – Technology Upgrade in the amount of $300,000.00; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 282, dated June 18, 2024, amended Capital Project No. 546 SUNY Ulster – Technology Upgrade in the amount of $200,000.00, making the project total $500,000.00; and

WHEREAS, SUNY Ulster, through its Office for Information Services has assessed the need for technology upgrades on campus and compiled a list of the most critical locations that will be enable the College to stay on target with the required needs of technology for the college programs that are taught on campus, as well as help students, staff and faculty to accomplish their goals within the education system; and

WHEREAS, the $290,000.00 cost to upgrade technology equipment in 2025, would be divided as follows: $145,000.00 State and $145,000.00 Ulster County; and

WHEREAS, the 2025-2030 Ulster County Capital Improvement Program included afiscal year ended December 31, 2025 budget of $640,000.00 for SUNY - Equipment and Technology; now, therefore be it

 RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 546 – SUNY Ulster Technology Upgrades is hereby amended as follows:
