Chairman of the Laws, Rules, and Government Services Committee, Jason J. Kovacs, and Deputy Chair Aaron J. Levine offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Board of Elections; and

 

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Board of Elections has offered School Districts in Ulster County the use of polling equipment and material for use in the May 20, 2025 Ulster County School District Elections; and

 

WHEREAS, the equipment will at all times remain property of Ulster County and the Ulster County Board of Elections; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to execute agreements, and amendments thereto, with School Districts in Ulster County for the use of polling equipment and material for the May 20, 2025 Ulster County School District elections, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature, or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

 

and move its adoption.
