Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and

            WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health requires authorization to extend the intermunicipal agreement between the Ulster County Department of Mental Health and the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health to support the availability of the Dutchess County Helpline 9-8-8 suicide prevention call center to Ulster County residents; and

            WHEREAS, there is no County Contribution as a result of this intermunicipal agreement; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to execute the Inter Municipal Agreement with Dutchess County in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

and moves its adoption.
