Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, pursuant to §C-25 (A) of the Ulster County Charter and §A3-4(A) of the Administrative Code, the County Executive has the power and duty to appoint department heads; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to §C-121(A) of the Ulster County Charter and §A41-1(A) of the Administrative Code, the County Executive has appointed                                                      Sugely Melenciano to the position of Director Youth Bureau; and

WHEREAS, further pursuant to § C-121(A) of the Ulster County Charter and §A41-1(A) of the Administrative Code, the above-referenced appointment is subject to confirmation by the Ulster County Legislature; now, therefore, be it 

RESOLVED, the Ulster County Legislature hereby confirms the appointment of Sugely Melenciano to the position of Director of the Ulster County Youth Bureau,

and moves its adoption.
