Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and

          WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health has the ability to utilize Opioid Settlement funding that was not expended in 2023 in order to implement Mental Health programs throughout Ulster County in 2024; and

          WHEREAS, to reflect the funding, an amendment of the 2024 budget is necessary; and

          WHEREAS, there is no increase in County Contribution as a result of these modifications; now, therefore, be it further

RESOLVED, that the 2024 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:
