Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and

 

          WHEREAS, for 2022, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health received a CMHS Federal Grant Award (CFDA #93.958) from the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) in the amount of $25,000 for building a System of Care infrastructure within the County: and

 

WHEREAS, for 2022, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health expended $5,324 from the CMHS Federal Grant Award; and

 

          WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health has received an authorization from OMH dated July 5, 2023 to spend the balance of the System of Care grant through December 31, 2023: and 

 

WHEREAS, to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2023 budget is necessary: and

 

 WHEREAS, there is no increase in County Contribution as a result of these modifications; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the 2023 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:
