Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Social Services; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Social Services has received notification from the New York State Office of Victim Services (OVS) of an award of $104,797.55 of continued funding under the Victim and Witness Assistant Grant Program; and

WHEREAS, in order to reflect the increased funding an amendment of the 2023 budgets is necessary; and

WHEREAS, no additional County contribution or matching funding is required other than what has been budgeted; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the 2023 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
