Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, John Gavaris, and Deputy Chair Kenneth J. Ronk, Jr. offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Personnel; and

 

          WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 26 adopted on February 15, 2022, the Legislature established the Ulster County Fair Pay and Salary Equity Policy, requiring conduction of a salary/compensation study; and

 

WHEREAS, the County has now selected a vendor to do a salary study; and

 

          WHEREAS, in order to perform a salary study a budgetary amendment is now required to move funds out of contingency into the personnel department; now, therefore be it

 

          RESOLVED, that the 2023 County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
