Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez, and Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, John Gavaris, offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and

          WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health requires authorization to extend the intermunicipal agreement between the Ulster County Department of Mental Health and the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health to support the availability of the Dutchess County Helpline 9-8-8 suicide prevention call center to Ulster County residents; and

          WHEREAS, there is no increase in County Contribution as a result of this intermunicipal agreement; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to execute the intermunicipal agreement amendment, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney and Legislative Counsel,

and move its adoption.
