Chair Tracey A. Bartels offers the following:

          WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency due to the resignation of Thomas Kacandes; and

          WHEREAS, the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature, after consideration of

the recommendation of the Energy, Environment and Sustainability Committee, has appointed the following individual to the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency to fill the unexpired term as indicated below:

                                                                                 December 31, 2023;

WHEREAS, the legislation creating the Agency (Consolidated Laws of 1986, Ch. 936) requires that such appointment be subject to the confirmation of the Ulster County Legislature; now, therefore be it

          RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature confirms the appointment of the individual as set forth above as a member of the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency,

and move its adoption.
