Chair of the Legislature, Tracey A. Bartels, offers the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive; and

 

WHEREAS, 701 Grant Avenue in Lake Katrine, NY is now a county-owned property; and

 

WHEREAS, in accordance with Real Property Tax Law §1166 the county is able to sell 701 Grant Avenue directly with the approval of the Legislative body; and

 

WHEREAS, Ulster County upon approval of this resolution will commence the process of finding a buyer for the direct sale of 701 Grant Ave., Town of Ulster; and

 

WHEREAS, upon finding a buyer and agreeing to terms the Legislature will ‘

 

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature authorizes the commencement of the direct sale process for the property located at 701 Grant Ave., Town of Ulster,

 

and move its adoption.
