Chairwoman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Laura Petit, and Deputy Chair Dean J. Fabiano offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Acting County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

 

WHEREAS, the County’s present lease agreement with Lily Lake LLC for offices located at 280 State Route 299, Suite No. 3, Highland, NY expires on April 30, 2019; and

 

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has requested the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature to enter into a lease agreement with Lily Lake LLC to lease 1,100 square feet of office space, for a five-year term beginning May 1, 2019 and ending April 30, 2024, at an annual cost of $14.73/square foot, totaling $16,200 annually for the first three years of the lease; and a cost of $15.05/square foot, totaling $16,560 annually for the final two years of the lease; now, therefore be it,

 

RESOLVED, that the Chair Of The Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to execute a lease agreement and any related amendments with Lily Lake LLC for offices located at 280 State Route 299, Suite No. 3, Highland, NY, for a five-year term beginning May 1, 2019 and ending April 30, 2024, at an annual cost of $14.73/square foot, totaling $16,200 annually for the first three years of the lease; and a cost of $15.05/square foot, totaling $16,560 annually for the final two years of the lease; as filed with the Clerk of the Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

 

and move its adoption.
