Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Mary Beth

Maio, and Deputy Chair Julius Collins offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Ulster County Sheriff;

and

WHEREAS, the Department of Justice requires reporting of asset forfeitures

through the Asset Forfeitures eShare Access; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to enter into an agreement with the Department of Justice for the reporting

of asset forfeitures through the Asset Forfeiture eShare Access, in the form as filed

with the Clerk of the Legislature, or as modified with the approval of the County

Attorney in consultation with the Chairman of the Legislature and the Chair and

Deputy Chair of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee;

and move its adoption.
