Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano,

offers the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, Access: Supports For Living Inc. (“Access”) is a domestic notfor-profit corporation which has supported the families and communities of the

Hudson Valley by providing services for people facing the challenges of disability

and mental illness for over 50 years; and

 

WHEREAS, the present lease agreement between the County and Access for

office space at the premises located at the Golden Hill Office Building, 239 Golden

Hill Drive, Kingston, NY (“Golden Hill”) expired on May 31, 2018, and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has requested the Chairman

of the Ulster County Legislature to enter into a lease agreement with Access, which

shall allow Access to lease 207 square feet of office space at Golden Hill for a fiveyear term beginning November 1, 2018 and ending October 31, 2023 at a cost of

$11.00/square foot, totaling $2,277.00 annually; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to execute a lease agreement and any amendments thereto with Access for

office space at Golden Hill for a five-year term beginning November 1, 2018 and

ending October 31, 2023, at a cost of $11.00/square foot, totaling $2,277.00 annually,

as filed with the Clerk of the Legislature or as modified with the approval of the

County Attorney,

and move its adoption.
