Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano,

offers the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

 

WHEREAS, the present lease agreement with Pine Professional Center, LLC,

124 Main Street, Suite 8, New Paltz, NY, for offices of County’s Probation

Department located at 124 Main Street, New Paltz, NY, expires on October 31, 2018,

and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has requested the Chairman

of the Ulster County Legislature to enter into a lease agreement with Pine

Professional Center, LLC, to lease 1,308 square feet of office space on the first floor

of the premises located at 124 Main Street, New Paltz, NY, for a five-year term

beginning November 1, 2018 and ending October 31, 2023 at an annual cost of

approximately $17.02/square foot, totaling $22,260.00 annually, for the term of the

lease; now, therefore be it,

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to execute a lease agreement and any amendments thereto, with Pine

Professional Center, LLC, 124 Main Street, Suite 8, New Paltz, NY, for offices of the

County’s Probation Department located on the first floor of the premises located at

124 Main Street, New Paltz, NY, for a five-year term beginning November 1, 2018

and ending October 31, 2023, at an annual cost of $22,260.00 for the five-year term

of the lease, as filed with the Clerk of the Legislature or as modified with the

approval of the County Attorney,

and move its adoption.
