Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services

Committee, David B. Donaldson, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the

following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Ulster County Community College (herein “UCCC”); and

WHEREAS, SUNY Ulster’s current Facilities Master Plan was last updated in

2008, and it has been determined that the current Facilities Master Plan is outdated

and in need of revision; and

WHEREAS, the SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 16-

11-143 establishing a Capital Project in the amount of $175,000.00, to develop a new

Facilities Master Plan; and

WHEREAS, the $175,000.00 cost to develop the new Facilities Master Plan

would be divided as follows: $87,500.00 SUNY and $87,500.00 Ulster County; and

WHEREAS, the 2018-2023 Capital Improvement Program included funding

of $175,000.00 for the development of a Facilities Master Plan; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED,that Capital Project No. 491 - SUNY Ulster Facilities Master

Plan is hereby established as follows:

CREATE AMOUNT

Capital Project No. 491 SUNY Ulster – Facility Master Plan $175,000.00

and, be it further;

RESOLVED, that the 2018-2023 Ulster County Capital Fund Budget is

hereby amended as follows:

 INCREASE AMOUNT

HH.2497.0491-4300.4505 Professional Services Other Fees $175,000.00
